Our Missio Communities (MC's) are families of missionary servants who orient their lives together to love each other, love God, and love a specific part of our city. See a list of our MC’s below.
Want some more information? E-mail us and someone from our church would love to grab coffee with you and explain a little more about what our MC's are and what we do!
John and Amy Looney lead an MC seeking to build community and share the good news of Jesus as neighbors are invited around the table. This group is taking the simple act of sharing meals with people and organizing neighborhood BBQs to create space for relationship and conversations of the Kingdom, and learning to replicate it in other neighborhoods.
Chris and Bethany Priebe lead a Missio Community which teams up with Cultivate to offer support for their cohort. The Cultivate Cohort is a group of teens in our community who are more vulnerable than most: refugee youth, those about to age out of foster care, at risk of homelessness, etc. This MC shares meals with, offers work opportunities, and provides life skills training to these young men and women.
We have several families forming a Missio Community in the suburbs of NorthWest Peoria, near Lake Pleasant Road, sent to make and mature disciples.
