Creation: The Story Begins
When we have a bigger and better view of God through his story we will be a community who better reflects his character in the everyday moments of life. That means that this is the story that needs to orient you at your job, at your school…
Not just a life of memorizing facts, but of being mesmerized at the good God who created a good world.
The Story of the Story (True Story: Week 1)
Abiding. Resilient. Hopeful.
This year we are setting out to be a faithful gospel presence in Mesa by living as: An abiding presence. A resilient presence. A hopeful presence. And prayerfully depending on the Spirit to glorify God through our joyful apprenticeship to Jesus. Join us by praying or partnering in one of our MC's! Jesus continues to stir up life in our city and we are grateful to be a part of his mission here. www.missiomesa.com
Why do we gather?
As a family of missional communities we gather, we grow, we give, and we go. But why do we bother gathering all our communities together? Here's an answer to that question. Enjoy. This short video looks at three reasons we gather our Missio Communities together and 3 different ways we gather them. For more information check out www.missiodeicommunities.com
Advent Week 4: Selfless Servants & Stirrings of the Spirit
That The king has come and he welcomes all sojourners and strugglers. The marginalized and the minimized are welcomed at his table. This story is pivotal in both our understanding the story of Jesus and so influential in the story God is writing in Missio.
We are going to look at what is historically called the Magnificat and one of the most beautiful songs ever written.
So, What can we learn from Mary and life in the kingdom?
Advent Week 2: Comfort
Jesus offers comfort in his power and presence. Listen in and find out why “you do you” will never comfort and Jesus can!
Kingdom Come: It's a Wrap
We've spent the last 8 weeks in our series kingdom come and discovered that this is the thing that makes everything else make sense. Have we figured everything out? No, but we do have the tools to start doing some work ourselves as we continue to learn and live in God's kingdom. This final teaching is 10 minute wrap up from our gathering before we spent the rest of the gathering in quiet reflecting and story-telling. If you'd like the reflection sheet DM us~!
Kingdom Come: What kind of heart do you have?
Kingdom Come: Love
Kingdom Come: Is this Legit?
John the Baptist had to know. Had he gone all in on the wrong guy? Was Jesus really the Messiah? Had the kingdom of God really come, or was this just a short lived social phenomenon? Was the gospel really true, or had he just wished it were?
Have you ever felt like John?
What do you do with the questions?
