This teaching can be a solo experience, but it’s best served up in community. As you sit under the Story of God let your heart be moved with wonder, your mind be filled with God’s telling of history, and your hands be prompted to faithfully take up your role in His Story! You are loved friends!

What do you learn about who God is from the book of Genesis? What sort of things does he do?
Read Genesis 50.19-20 “But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
Reflect: Where have you seen this to be true in your life? God bringing redemption out of bad situations? How does this point your heart to Jesus?
What are two specific things you think that the Spirit of God wants us to do after reflecting on the book of Genesis? Think about your home, neighborhood, or job? How could we be a preview Jesus Kingdom right now, in our city while we wait for it to fully come at his return?
