As a church, in a deeply broken world, we invite all of our congregations to pray and fast over the next three weeks. Each of our congregations believes this is a season for dedicated prayer for our hearts, our neighborhoods and our cities. We know there is much work to do. And so we believe we must pray. We know that we are wrestling "against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6: 12) And so we pray. We know that we are not alone. And so we pray. Together.
We are urgently inviting our church together into the ancient practices of fasting and praying over the next three Fridays. We are specifically asking the Spirit, the breath of the living God, to convict us where needed and to breathe restorative justice, radical reconciliation and city-wide renewal through the Church in AZ
The Plan:
June 5: Personal fasting, prayer and reflection. We will have resources available to guide this day.
June 12: Fasting and All Missio 24 Hour prayer zoom room.
June 19: Fasting and small in home prayer gatherings.
It’s our prayer the Spirit of the living God would make his presence known in these times of fasting and prayer and that his presence would guide us as his family of missionary servants-
